LILLY ALLEN - LA CHICA DE "SMILE" REGRESA CON "HARD OUT HERE"

En estos días, la cantante británica Lilly Allen que nos encandiló con el tema Smile, nos ha sorprendido con una nueva canción y un vídeo más llamativo aún. El tema se titula "Hard Out Here" (algo así como "es duro estar aquí afuera") y su ácida letra es una queja y una burla, al mismo tiempo, de la cultura actual donde la mujer es un objeto sexual y de cómo cuando no lo es no se considera apta para la música (o para la vida, en general). Las referencias a la industria no faltan cuando la artista muestra con desdén al típico ejecutivo de traje que maneja el negocio, el uso y abuso de la palabra "bitch", las caricaturas de los rappers y el champagne volcado en los cuerpos de esbeltas bailarinas.
La parodia le sienta muy bien a esta chica terrible del pop y el director del clip, Christopher Sweeney, logró con mucha eficacia mostrar los clichés que la artista sugiere.
